Blackstaff Square, Belfast

As part of the Imagine Belfast Festival 2023, Cyanotype Media was commissioned by OGU Architects on behalf of Linen Quarter BID to visualise their proposals for the transformation of Blackstaff Square.  Currently the square is an often overlooked and unloved part of the city, but with the opening of the new Grand Central Station in the coming years, it will soon become a key gateway site into the city.

These proposals include for the provision of pedestrian priority paving, public realm improvements and seating, and a number of covered pavilions to allow the square to be even when the weather is being traditionally Belfast.
